Quantum Kids Laboratory

A family-centered laboratory for exploring consciousness and the material and non-physical worlds—awakening the magic in every child, where superpowers, star missions, and everyday miracles come to life.

When kids are given real space to explore perception, intuition, and awareness, reality starts responding in ways that surprise everyone—including them.

We begin on the New Moon — February 17, the day that ushers in the Year of the Fire Horse

Experiencing Consciousness & What’s Actually Possible

When children are given space to explore consciousness directly, unbelievable moments happen.

Not because they’re forced or trained—but because these capacities already exist beneath the surface. As perception expands and curiosity leads, kids begin experiencing reality in ways that surprise even them: heightened awareness, moments of real magic, and sudden shifts in what they thought was possible.

The Quantum Kids Laboratory is a place where those moments aren’t dismissed or explained away. They’re explored, grounded, and integrated—so children can experience the extraordinary while staying connected to their bodies, their families, and everyday life.

Discovering What They’re Actually Capable Of

When kids are allowed to explore their abilities directly, things escalate quickly.

Telepathy stops being an idea and starts becoming an experience. Focus turns into influence. Intuition sharpens. Perception widens. Kids begin doing things that surprise them — and then they want to try again.

In the Quantum Kids Laboratory, abilities like telepathy, blindfold perception, intention, energy awareness, and interaction with the unseen aren’t treated as fantasy. They’re explored through practice, play, and real experimentation.

This is where kids start to realize something important:
they are far more capable than they were ever told.

And once that realization lands, confidence follows naturally.

When the Extraordinary Starts Showing Up Everywhere

The most interesting part isn’t what happens during the practices.

It’s what starts happening after.

Kids begin noticing patterns, synchronicities, and moments of real magic woven into everyday life. They experience stronger connection to nature, clearer intuition, deeper emotional awareness, and a sense that the world is responsive rather than random.

This work doesn’t pull kids out of reality — it brings them more fully into it.

Magic stops being something imagined and starts becoming something lived: in relationships, in creativity, in confidence, and in how kids move through the world.

That’s when the biggest shifts tend to happen — quietly, naturally, and often when no one is trying.

How the Quantum Kids Laboratory Works

The Quantum Kids Laboratory is a monthly, family-centered experience designed to be explored at your own pace.

Each month, new lessons, practices, and experiments are released that invite children—and their adults—into playful exploration of consciousness, intuition, energy, and everyday magic. Families can engage together or independently, returning to practices as often as they like.

There is no pressure to keep up, perform, or achieve specific outcomes.
This is a living laboratory—meant to be experienced, revisited, and integrated naturally over time.

Parents remain the primary guides and anchors for their children throughout the process, creating a shared language and rhythm that supports both inner exploration and grounded daily life.

  • Monthly membership with ongoing access

  • New lessons and practices released regularly

  • Live group calls with the instructors

  • Designed for children approximately ages 6–13 (with parent involvement)

  • Families explore together, at their own pace

We begin together on February 17, aligned with the New Moon.

Frequently Asked Questions

What We’ll Be Exploring in the Laboratory

The Quantum Kids Laboratory is a space for hands-on exploration of consciousness and possibility—giving children support to explore what many already sense, but rarely have space to engage openly.

Through guided lessons, play, nature-based practices, and live group calls, kids and their adults will explore topics including:

  • Expanded perception & intuition (including telepathy and blindfold sensing)

  • Focus, intention & influence (telekinesis, attention, and interaction with matter)

  • Reality shifting & quantum effects (how awareness and choice shape experience)

  • Cosmic identity & star origins (galactic awareness and a larger sense of self)

  • Energy awareness, grounding & protection (self-trust and energetic sovereignty)

  • Sound, frequency & vibration (voice, rhythm, and resonance)

  • Crystals, symbols & ancient wisdom (physical tools and timeless knowledge)

  • Ceremony, elemental magic & conscious creation (ritual, manifestation, and meaning)

Everything is explored through joy, curiosity, and experimentation—not pressure, performance, or comparison.

The goal is simple:
to give children space to experience what’s possible and amaze themselves.

Why the Quantum Kids Laboratory Exists

Honestly, this all started right at home with my own kids. It wasn’t some grand plan. It was just me watching my kids do these things that felt like they came right out of a Percy Jackson episode. You know, like blindfold reading in front of their whole school, and the other kids going absolutely wild, wanting to learn it too. It was that moment of “wait, this is possible?”

Then it just kept unfolding. I ended up running this little “Jedi training camp” for about 45 kids, and it was like watching them realize they could trust their own intuition and imagination.

One time my kids friends wanted to learn some magic and they were making cloud hearts and rainbows on their first try at weather play (actual photos above). It was like they were just waiting for someone to say, “Hey, it’s okay to explore this.”

And as word got out, more parents started coming to me, saying, “We want this for our kids too.” They wanted a place where their kids didn’t have to shut down their curiosity or feel boxed in by what the world tells them is “normal.”

So that’s the why behind all of this. It’s about giving kids—and their parents—a space to reopen that door to unlimited possibility. To let them figure out their own powers, in a way that feels safe, joyful, and real.

Meet the Founders:

Hey, I’m Derek Loudermilk 👋

I’m a dad of three, a lifelong experimentalist, and someone who’s always been curious about what happens when we try things and pay attention.

That curiosity has taken me all over the world as a professional adventurer — and into all kinds of experiments, big and small. Sometimes I start with a loose idea, sometimes I don’t. Sometimes it’s playful, sometimes it’s weird. Like recently, when I slept overnight in a snow cave just to notice how it might affect dreaming.

That’s been my approach for as long as I can remember: explore, notice, adjust, repeat.

Over the years, this curiosity turned into an ongoing project I call Metaphysical Quest, where I’ve explored over 100 different practices related to perception, focus, awareness, intuition, and human experience. I also host The Derek Loudermilk Show, a long-running podcast where I have conversations with explorers, scientists, creators, and thinkers about curiosity, consciousness, and what’s possible when we step outside the usual boxes.

Some of my favorite explorations haven’t happened in remote places, though.

They’ve happened with kids.

Through playful, in-person programs often affectionately called Jedi Training Camps, I began creating low-stakes spaces where kids could play with focus, imagination, attention, perception, and confidence — just to see what it feels like. No pressure. No expectations. Just curiosity and fun.

What became obvious very quickly is that kids are natural explorers. They don’t need to be told what to think — they thrive when they’re given space to experiment, ask questions, and trust their own experience.

That’s where Quantum Kids Laboratory comes from.

This is a place for curiosity, play, and discovery. We try things. We notice what happens. We laugh when experiments surprise us. And we stay open to possibility.

As a parent first, my goal is simple:
to create a space that’s fun, safe, age-appropriate, and rooted in curiosity —
where kids can explore what’s possible without pressure or performance.

Think of Quantum Kids as a laboratory, not a classroom.
Wonder encouraged. Curiosity required.

Hi, I’m Joia Holman 👋

I’m an educator, wildlife biologist, artist, and mama — and at heart, a lifelong learner who believes the best learning happens through direct experience, curiosity, and relationship with the world around us.

My path has taken me across the globe, working in museums, aquariums, nature centers, and remote ecosystems, and even at sea. I served as a science specialist and crew member with the Polynesian Voyaging Society aboard Hōkūleʻa, navigating the Earth by the stars through the ancient practice of wayfinding — a way of learning rooted in observation, intuition, and trust in the natural world.

Alongside my scientific training, I completed a four-year training in energy healing in Hawaiʻi, which deepened my understanding of learning as something lived and felt, not just taught. Over time, these threads came together into a simple truth: children learn best when they feel safe, grounded, and free to explore.

Much of my most meaningful work has been with kids — creating gentle, supportive spaces where curiosity leads, questions are welcome, and exploration unfolds at each child’s own pace.

That’s what I bring to Quantum Kids Laboratory.

As a parent and educator, my intention is to help create a space where children feel connected — to nature, to themselves, and to the unseen possibilities that emerge when we slow down and pay attention.

Think of this as learning that’s alive, relational, and rooted in wonder.

Hi, I’m Liz Connors 👋

I’m a coach, guide, and lifelong explorer of human potential — and I especially love helping kids reconnect with their curiosity, confidence, and sense of possibility.

I’ve been coaching and mentoring children since 1996, beginning with sports and leadership programs and evolving over the years into more holistic, curiosity-driven approaches. My career has spanned many worlds, including tourism, public relations, and technology, all of which have shaped how I understand people, communication, and growth.

In 2017, a profound personal experience shifted my perspective on life and deepened my relationship with intuition, presence, and energy. That turning point led me to found LovesToGather, where my work blends transformational coaching, intuitive development, and energy-based practices — or as I like to call it, “con-soul-ting”: meeting people exactly where they are, with care and curiosity.

What I’m most known for is helping people uncover their own strengths — their “superpowers.” With kids, that means creating emotionally safe, supportive environments where exploration is playful, pressure-free, and led by curiosity rather than expectation.

I’ve had the honor of sharing the stage with teachers and thought leaders like Mary Morrissey, Darren Martin, and Adam Apollo, and I continue to be inspired by the richness of the human experience and the intelligence that emerges when we slow down and listen.

That’s why I’m so excited to be a co-founder of Quantum Kids Laboratory.

Here, my role is to help hold a grounded, welcoming space where children (and parents) feel supported as they explore perception, intuition, and possibility — at their own pace, in their own way.
